"It’s easy enough to use overall…"
It’s easy enough to use overall, but a few pages took me some time to figure out. I kind of felt pressured to move through it quickly, which made the confusing parts a little more frustrating than they probably needed to be.
"Helpful, but not quite what I expected"
I started using Learning A-Z this year with my 3rd grade reading groups, and while it does fit into our routine well, I’m a little disappointed. It was presented like it would be really smooth and easy to get going, but the login process took longer than I expected and a few of the pages feel clunky. Once everything was finally set up, it did save me prep time, especially for leveled readers and quick assignments. The kids can use it mostly on their own now, which is nice, but I still feel like it wasn’t quite as simple or polished as I was led to believe...
"Reports Take Too Long"
The reports load slowly for me, and when they finally show up, the analytics don’t always look right. It makes it hard to trust what I’m seeing.
"Useful lessons, when the site feels like working"
The lessons themselves are actually helpful, so I’ll give credit where it’s due. But the site can be a little hit or miss, which is fun when you’re in the middle of a class and the page suddenly decides to load forever or freeze. It’s not exactly awful, I just think it’d be nice if it stayed stable during the times people are, you know, trying to use it.

"Works okay, but not quite what I expected"
We use it at home and overall it works well. My kid really likes the books, which is the main thing, but I felt a little misled because I expected the login process to be smoother. Sometimes it’s more of a hassle than it should be. Still useful, just not as easy as I thought it would be

"Pretty much what I expected, in a good way"
I kind of figured this would help me give my kids work that actually matched where they are, that’s been my experience most weeks. It’s not perfect, and I still have to tweak things here and there, but it definitely saves me time and backs up what I already thought: having level-appropriate work ready to go makes a big difference

"Could Use Better Stories"
I gave it a try, but the story just didn’t really pull me in. Maybe it’s just the one I experienced, but when the main story feels a bit weak, it makes the whole thing seem like it probably needs stronger storytelling overall.

"Students lost interest quickly"
I had high hopes for this since similar tools we’ve used kept my students engaged for longer, but this one didn’t really hold their attention. They were interested at first, but after a short time they got bored and basically stopped using it. Compared to some competitors, it just didn’t feel as fun or motivating for them.

"Not really worth the price anymore"
I used to be okay with it, but the price just keeps creeping up and the stuff still feels basic. For what it costs now, I don’t really feel like I’m getting enough out of it. Not for me.

"The alignment wasn’t as dependable as I expected"
I got Learning A-Z mostly because it said the lessons were aligned to standards, but it didn’t really play out that way in my classroom. The weird part is, some skills were tagged in ways that didn’t make much sense, and a few lessons only felt loosely connected to the standard they were listed under. I ended up spending extra time double-checking everything before using it, which kind of defeats the purpose. Some of the resources are decent, but the standards alignment just wasn’t reliable enough for me. For the price, I expected better.

"Got charged again and the cancellation was confusing"
I thought I had canceled already, or at least I’m sure I started the process a while back, but then another charge showed up. I went back and forth trying to figure out if I missed a step or if it just didn’t go through, and the whole timeline is still a little confusing to me. Either way, canceling ended up being way more of a hassle than I expected, and getting charged again after thinking I was done with it was really frustrating.

"A Real Time-Saver for Phonics Practice"
I’ve been using Learning A-Z mostly for phonics and vocabulary, i’m happy with it. The phonics lessons are easy to follow, and there’s plenty of word practice to keep my students engaged. A few parts do feel a bit outdated, but overall it’s been really helpful and has saved me a lot of planning time.

"I sent two messages and waited…"
I sent two messages and waited for days , but I still never got a real answer . It feels like nobody is checking support at all .

"Helpful reading tools, but parents need clearer guidance"
My kid’s teacher uses Learning A-Z, so I started using it at home to help with reading practice. The materials are definitely useful, and once I find what I’m looking for, it does the job. But the parent side feels more confusing than it should. Logging in isn’t too bad, but getting to the right books or assignments takes a lot of clicking around. Some of the pages also feel a little outdated, and I ended up having to ask the teacher more than once what I was supposed to do. I really wish there were clearer instructions for parents who just want to jump in quickly and help their child without guessing where everything is

"Didn’t really work for my English learners"
I tried Learning A-Z with my ELL students this year, mostly because I was hoping it would save me some prep time during our reading block, and I ended up underwhelmed. Some of the materials look fine at first, but once I actually used them with my students, there just wasn’t enough language support built in. A lot of it still needed me to step in, explain vocabulary, rework directions, or add extra scaffolds so they could actually access it. Maybe it works better for other groups, but for my class, with kids still learning English and already juggling so much, it felt too challenging without a lot of teacher help. I expected it to be more useful than it was, so I probably wouldn’t choose it again.

"Feels more like chasing points than learning"
My son mostly just clicks through stuff now to get the stars and badges, he’s not really reading it. The games and rewards kinda feel like the whole point, and then homework turns into a battle. Also the rewards don’t always show up right, so he gets upset and wants me to fix it. For a learning site, it feels more like a points chase than actual learning

"It does what it’s supposed to do, but…"
It does what it’s supposed to do, but the overall experience feels a bit clunky. I was also expecting it to respond faster, so that part was a little disappointing. Still usable, just not as smooth as I’d hoped.

"Decent audio, but not always consistent"
I use Learning A-Z with my kid, and overall the narration is okay. Some of the stories are clear and easy for them to follow, but every now and then the voices sound a little flat or rushed. The audio quality isn’t terrible, just kind of hit or miss. I also wasn’t thrilled about having to wait in a queue when I needed help, which made the whole thing a bit more frustrating. It gets the job done, but I do wish the narration sounded more natural and consistent.
"Mostly Balanced, With a Few Weird Ones"
The levels are mostly on point, honestly. Like with pretty much every game, there are always a few that feel a little random or off compared to the rest, but overall it seemed fair to me.

"I really like how easy it…"
I really like how easy it is to check what my kids have finished and see where they still need more practice. It saves me a lot of guessing. The only thing that bugs me is that the reports can be slow to load sometimes, and I don’t have a lot of patience for waiting around. But overall, it works well
